Direct primary care is a model that gets rid of the middle man and allows direct access to your physician. By paying a predictable monthly membership fee you actually end up saving money in the long run. No co-pays, no suprise bills, and significant reduction in cost of labs needed.

No. The direct primary care model is a concierge style practice where you pay a flat monthly fee that includes your services with The Well. We recommend you keep insurance for emergency room or urgent care visits, hospitalizations, and specialist referrals. You can also use insurance for any necessary imaging or labs (that are not done in clinic), however, the cash price we have negotiated is often significantly lower than what you will get billed using your insurance.

At our clinic, we strongly support the routine childhood immunization schedule recommended by the CDC and the American Academy of Pediatrics. This schedule is carefully designed to protect children at the right time, providing safe and effective defense against serious diseases.

We also understand that every family is unique, and we’re here to listen. Dr. Kat is committed to answering your questions, addressing your concerns, and working with you to make sure you feel informed and confident about your child’s care. Your trust is important to us, and we're here to support you every step of the way.

Vaccines are available via Vaxcare, administered by Dr. Kat, and billed to your insurance.

The Well clinic is located on Main Street in historic downtown Chappell Hill, TX conveniently right off of US Highway 290.

Telemedicine visits are available for members when indicated, as well as the ability to call/text/e-mail Dr. Lusk directly when you need it most.
