DIRECT PRIMARY CARE PEDIATRICIAN IN CHAPPELL HILL & TX

Welcome to The Well

Whole-child care that integrates physical, emotional, and developmental needs.

Redefining Pediatric Care

THOUGHTFUL PEDIATRIC CARE THAT SEES YOUR WHOLE CHILD

Most pediatric visits are fast, clinical, and surface-level. I believe your child deserves to be known, not just treated. Every parent deserves to feel empowered, not brushed off.

The Well was built on a simple belief: real care takes time. When you’re given that time and you feel known, heard, and supported—everything changes.

Why I started The Well

I CREATED THE WELL, BECAUSE I BELIEVE THOUGHTFUL AND INTENTIONAL MEDICAL CARE IS VITAL TO YOUR WHOLE FAMILY’S WELL-BEING.

After years in traditional medical systems, I saw too many families leaving appointments discouraged. Providers were burned out. Kids were anxious. Parents felt unheard. That didn’t sit right with me.

So I built something different—a collaborative space where we slow down, build trust, and care for your child’s full story.

This is heart-centered care that prioritizes intentionality and relationship over rush.

More than checkups.

I SEE YOUR WHOLE CHILD—MIND, BODY, HEART, AND SPIRIT.

Why Direct Primary Care?

PUTTING THE PATIENT-DOCTOR RELATIONSHIP FIRST

I realized that Direct Primary Care (DPC) was the clearest path to offer the kind of care children and families truly deserve. DPC is more than a healthcare model—it’s a movement led by doctors who want to bring the focus back to the relationship between physician and patient.

At The Well, there are no middlemen—no coders, no billers, no administrators creating red tape. Instead of spending time navigating insurance rules, I can spend that time with you.

This model lets me work directly for you—not an insurance company or large healthcare system. Your child’s health is the priority, and only focus.

The result? A care experience that’s calm, confident, and centered on what matters most: your child’s health and your peace of mind.

What Makes The Well Different

I believe pediatric care should be more than labs and checklists—it should be a trusting relationship. Here, you’re not a number. Your child is a whole person, and you're part of our care family.

About Dr. Lusk

I’M A BOARD-CERTIFIED PEDIATRICIAN WITH A PASSION FOR HELPING FAMILIES—ESPECIALLY THOSE JUST STARTING THEIR PARENTING JOURNEY.

I believe great pediatric care starts with a strong doctor-parent partnership and a deep understanding of each child’s whole health.

I have a special interest in helping families build healthy rhythms around sleep, nutrition, movement, and connection. My approach is lifestyle-focused, prevention-oriented, and grounded in lasting relationships with the families I serve.

I live just outside of Brenham with my husband (who I met at A&M), our three kids, a playful bernedoodle, and a small crew of goats and chickens. Outside the clinic, you’ll likely find me cooking for friends, volunteering at church, enjoying the outdoors, or simply being present with my family.

Training & Education

Originally from Minnesota, I moved to Texas for college, earning a Finance degree from Texas A&M while playing Division I soccer and completing my pre-med studies.

I graduated from UT Houston (now McGovern Medical School), served as class president all four years, and completed my residency in pediatrics at the Texas Medical Center.
